Features · Publishing

Live, and reversible.

Nothing you publish is stuck.

Rollback

Address, versions, rollback.

A published site goes live on its own geenius.site address. Freeze the draft as a version any time, pin a publish, and put an earlier one back with rollback. Connect your own domain with the DNS guide, and check its DNS and certificate. Publishing, rollback and removing a site need an admin or owner seat.

  • A preview link you can rotate
  • Unpublish keeps the versions
  • Hand a site over to a GitHub repository where configured

  • Pre-beta

Questions

About publishing.

Is a published website static?

Yes. A published website is a static site, with no server of ours in the visitor's path.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, where the hosting is set up for it: connect the domain and follow the DNS guide, and the status checks the DNS and the certificate. Buying a domain for you is not offered.

Can I undo a publish?

Yes. Publishes are kept. Roll back to the previous one or to any kept version, and pin one to protect it.

Publish with a way back.
